Description
Novimmune is an oral L- glutamine powder with FOS formula available in 15g sachet. Glutamine is conditionally essential amino acid for use in highly catabolic patients. Glutamine forms 60% of free amino acid pool in the muscles and should be administered as part of amino acid supplementation in enteral nutrition
Indications
- Novimmune is indicated in Critically ill, Burns, Trauma and Surgical patients, Immune compromised, and Cancer patients to enhance immunity and for faster recovery
- Oral Glutamine meets the specialized nutritional needs of critically ill patients

Direction for use
Empty the contents of the sachet in 180ml of water, stir well and consume immediately. Constituted feed can be used for oral and enteral tube feeding.
Recommended Usage
2-3 sachets per day on oral diet or enteral tube feeding; or as directed by the nutritionist/clinician.
Not Indicated for: pregnant and lactating women, renal impairment and liver failure with encephalopathy, shock due to multi-organ failure, Reye syndrome.
